Expert Registration

In order to provide assistance with SkyFex Remote Assistant you need to register your individual Expert account. Registration is free and all you need to do is to fill the New Expert registration form. Your clients don't need to register on the web site to join assistance session.

Assistance Session

This is how a typical assistance session looks like. Technical support representative (Expert) talks over the phone, Instant Messenger or Online Chat with the client and tries to find out what is happening at the client's computer desktop. The Expert starts assistance session and asks the client to open https://skyfex.com/client/ in IE browser to join the session. When the client has joined to the session he obtains Client ID and gives it to the Expert. Expert enters the Client ID and immediately gets connected to client's desktop.

Provide Assistance

To start assistance session open https://skyfex.com/expert.
  • On SkyFex Expert login page login as en Expert with your e-mail and password. (If you did not register yet - get your free Expert account now!)
  • You can check "Remember me" option to be logged automatically to SkyFex at the next time.
  • If you forgot your password use "Forgot your password?" option for password recovery.
  • To change your password use "Change password" option.
Note: When you start SkyFex Expert at the first time you may get a standard IE warning message about ActiveX Control installation. Press 'Yes' and follow the further instructions.

To join a client to the assistance session you should get Client ID from the client and then enter it into Expert's Client ID field. Click Connect Client button to connect remote user desktop.

To disconnect the client, click "Disconnect Client" button.

To stop assistance session click "Exit" button. Currently connected client will be disconnected automatically.

To finish assistance session click "Logout" button or just close the browser.

Get Assistance

To join assistance session, open https://skyfex.com/client/ in your IE browser.

Note: When you start SkyFex at the first time you may get a standard IE warning message about ActiveX Control installation. Press 'Yes' and follow the further instructions.

When you connected to SkyFex Remote Assistant you get six-digit Client ID. Pass the ID to an expert who provides assistance to you.

To leave the session, click "Leave Session" button.
